The Conference delegates will have an opportunity to visit the Exhibition Center and the Testing Center named after Sofia Kishkina (VIAM) The Research Center «VIAM» is accredited by the Gosstandard of the Russian Federation, the Aviaregister of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), «General Electric Aircraft Engines» Company (the USA); is officially recognized by «British Airspace» Company (the Great Britain), «Airbus Industry», «Snecma» (France); has a unique complex of equipment (more than 700 units) for structure-analytical investigations and tests and has a long experience in certification of aviation materials.

JSC «Balashikha Casting-Mechanical Plant» is one of the main producers of profile castings of Mg alloys in Russia. For more than 50-years production history, the rich working practice on the whole spectrum of light alloys, including magnesium, aluminum, and titanium has been accumulated. The experience of plant specialists enables to get a number of unique in construction castings using the traditional methods of gravitational casting in sand and metallic moulds. For the last years, the industrial production of magnesium and aluminum automobile and motorcycle wheels has been successfully developed. Today, the plant is under the intensive reconstruction. The plant actively expands cooperation with the developers of new technologies and suppliers of modern equipment. The top management of the company is strictly committed to develop investments and to strategically update the order portfolio.

Visit to the workshops of magnesium castings and galvanic coatings at Zagorsk optical and mechanical plant. "Zagorsk optical and mechanical plant" is one of the main engineers and manufacturers of large range of observant devices, medical equipment for diagnostics and medical treatment of eye tissues and vessels, X-ray equipment and brightness amplifiers of X-ray image, as well as of different photometric devices.
"Zagorsk optical and mechanical plant" is one of the leading manufacturers of binoculars and monoculars. The castings workshop includes the following technological possibilities:
- sand casting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals including magnesium casting;
- precision shell casting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including non-corrosive alloys and titanium;
- die casting of aluminium and magnesium alloys.
On November 7, 2005, the plant will celebrate its 70th anniversary.
