Isaak A. Shur

He graduated from MVTU (Moscow State Technical University) named after N. Bauman.
Doctor of Technical Science, specialty "Machinery and metal forming technology", Assistant Professor of Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys "Machinery and units of the metallurgical plants" Head of department of the rolling and extrusion equipment of the All-Russia Institute of Light Alloys.

Under his guidance machinery and units were developed and introduced for manufacture of thin-walled sections of titanium alloys, extrusion lines for high-speed aluminum alloy section production were developed, modernization of the cold and hot rolling mills was made, lines of continuous thermal treatment and straightening of strands (belts) were developed, as well as units for coiled rolling of laminates and other equipment.

He participated in the creation and development of the rolling equipment and technological processes at the plants in India, China, Italy.
Laureate of the State Prize. He published 42 research works, 2 monographs, obtained 53 author's certificates and patents.
